Marlin is a graduate of Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa and has been in the accounting industry for over 30 years with experience in all facets of the accounting business.
His career began with Charles Bailly & Company, CPA’s (now known as Eide Bailly), and then continued his work experience as a Director of Finance for KELOLAND TV and the Sanford Health Foundation. Lesa graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics and Career Concentrations in Industrial Accounting and Marketing.
After working in the private sector for 15 years, Lesa earned her CPA license while employed at Henry Scholten & Co., LLP (now part of Eide Bailly). After five tax seasons, she went back into private accounting, working in managerial accounting roles at SDN Communications, POET Biorefining-Hudson, and most recently as the Accounting Manager/Controller at Sioux Steel Company. Her experience includes handling the month-end close process, reconciling general ledger accounts, accounting for inter-company situations, and compiling and analyzing monthly financial statements.

John is a graduate of the University of Sioux Falls and is the son of Marlin Van Peursem. He graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in both Business Administration and Accounting.
After completing an internship with Eide Bailly, LLP as an audit intern, he joined forces with his Dad to help start Van Peursem CPA. After four successful years, he will begin a new adventure with Poetice International as the Director of Operations in west Michigan, but will continue to stay involved with Van Peursem CPA.email@example.com
